End of term letter
Dear parents and carers,
With the last day of term finally upon us, can I thank you all for your unending support in the last year. We have faced the most unprecedented challenges, however I have been heartened time and time again by the community spirit that has been observed throughout. Your resilience to respond to changes in the guidance at the very last minute has been amazing.
As infection rates continue to be high and there is no movement to the tier system there will be no change to the current arrangements for January. Your arrival and departure times, the one way system, the wearing of face coverings and the social distancing will remain the same.
Schools are on call to support Track and Trace until December 23rd. As a reminder, I have included the expectations to assist in the Track and Trace of confirmed positive cases.
Please follow the guidance below:
· If a pupil or staff member develops symptoms of Covid-19 before 4pm on Saturday December 19th and then has a positive test result the school must be contacted as the person may have been infectious while in school. Please email the school office firstname.lastname@example.org - please note this email is fully working.
This email will be monitored between 2pm-4pm from Friday December 18th to Wednesday December 23rd to support the Track and Trace with Public Health England.
· If a pupil or staff member develops symptoms of Covid-19 after 4pm on Saturday December 19th then they should follow the contact tracing instructions provided by the NHS Track and Trace. School does not need to be contacted.
Can I finally take this opportunity to wish you and all your families a very Happy Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
