Upper School Council visit Apple Store

On Friday 30th November, as part of ‘Year of Engineering’, the upper school council visited the Apple store at Cribbs Causeway. Here they participated in two different workshops, which focused on coding. The first workshop was using an excellent free app called Swift. There are three levels to this and if the children work carefully through each level they can build their knowledge of coding and programing.

After a quick snack break, the children returned to the store and learnt how to programme a Sphero to move around the maze. If you want to see more on this, please watch the attached video.

To end the day, Apple issued each child with their own memory key and a magnetic Apple badge.
