Our first day of the new school meals went really well today.  Senior staff oversaw the whole lunch time service and saw that the new computer system and pre ordering was very successful.  It did take a little longer than usual to get the food out, however as this was the first day, everyone getting used to the new system was to be expected.  

 

If you still have not registered for School grid, please do so.  Also if you have registered but not updated your balance, please can you do this by tomorrow.  Text messages have been sent to parents to inform them of any dinner monies owed.  

 

Tomorrow is Fish fingers, chips and beans.  Parents should note that children choosing their lunch in school can opt for the sandwich option.  If you would prefer your child to have a hot meal, please can you speak to their teacher or use the pre order service.  Children eligible for income related free school meals are still required to pre order their lunch.  Parents can still register their children and make that pre order from home should they wish.
