Today we have had a very muddy play time.  I've included some pictures of the playground today.  

In our development of OPAL (Outdoor Play and learning) ensuring children can access the whole playground space no matter what the weather is very important.  We witnessed some wonderful, imaginative play today, with children having a lovely time.  However, at this time of the year, our playground can get very muddy, especially on the grass spaces.  Please can we reiterate the importance of providing wellies for play in school.  These can be brought in and left in school so that children can have the right footwear when it is time for playing outside.  Waterproof trousers also can be very useful. Some children will be coming home today very muddy, but this is because they have had a lovely time playing.  Please help us to make this easier by sending in the right clothing to assist with our active OPAL play.
