Dear Parents, 

 

This morning Bournville Primary school received some malicious communications via email. In line with our Safeguarding policy and protocols we contacted the police. 

Avon and Somerset Police officers attended as a precaution, and we remain in close contact. They do not believe the email is credible and do not believe there is any risk to anyone.

Please can we ask members of the community not to speculate about this matter and to avoid unnecessary concern, we deliberately chose not to speak to children about this matter. We ask the community to support with this in any discussions with your children.  Safeguarding of our children at Bournville is our highest priority and we will continue to maintain our excellent standards of safety and remain vigilant.   We will ensure parents are fully informed about any updates.
